One of our bedrock principles at Cloudficient is we want to be respectfully different. That philosophy drives numerous decisions we make every day. One is our technology. Instead of asking our customers to make major on-premise investments for supporting legacy data migrations as required by other vendors, our Azure-based hyper-scalable ReMAD platform transfers data at extreme velocity without the need for organizations to stand up much in the way of resources. OPEX Payment Model
As the name suggests this pay-as-you-go model, unique to the vendor community, allows our customers to pay for our technology and fully managed services as an operating expense. Specifically, customers are invoiced per month based on the amount of data migrated by our Services team. Organizations tell us this is extremely helpful as some of them don’t have budget allocated to pay upfront for all project costs or they’re unsure of how much data they need migrated. At any point in time, after we’ve moved their desired amount of data, our customers will ask us to halt the migration project and settle the last invoice.
CAPEX Payment Model
This model represents the more traditional payment approach based on capital expense. Once the project scope has been established, we will invoice costs for our technology and fully managed services upfront. As opposed to the OPEX model, this method best suits organizations that have budget allocated and fully understand project scope.
Regardless of model chosen, Cloudficient Services are delivered by Cloudficient staff (never by 3rd party consultants) on a fixed-cost, fixed-outcome basis after project scope is agreed upon. This, along with our cost-free proof of concept, eliminates all upfront risk as customers see the solution work and understand the exact costs they’re responsible for and never have the concern of additional expenses entering the project. This too is unique in the industry and another example of where we’re respectfully different.
